GETTING HERE BY CAR
Coming from Munich leave the A8 motorway heading for Salzburg at the Siegsdorf/Traunstein exit. Drive towards Lofer/Unken and keep right after the tunnel at the border crossing area to Austria. The Hotel Post is on the right-hand side of the street. The address is Niederland 28, 5091 Unken. No Vignette disc is required for this route.
Coming from Vienna follow the Westautobahn to Salzburg and keep heading for Munich. Leave the German A8 motorway at the Bad Reichenhall exit. Follow the main road to Lofer/Unken. Keep right after the tunnel at the border crossing area to Austria, you can’t miss the Hotel Post. The address is Niederland 28, 5091 Unken. Look for a connecting train to Bad Reichenhall Train Station (around 14 km from the hotel), Salzburg Main Train Station (around 45 km from the hotel) or Freilassing Main Train Station (around 35km from the hotel). Please let the hotel team know when you are arriving in good time, and the hotel shuttle will collect you there.
